Meet Kelvin
The Person Behind the Slick Detail Experience.
What started with one car became a passion, and that passion became Slick Detailing.
It started with one car.
I started detailing at 19 after purchasing my brand-new 2016 Chevrolet Impala LTZ. Being young and owning a fully loaded vehicle made me want to keep it looking its best. I began researching products, learning how to care for leather and interiors, and investing in equipment.
My neighbors started noticing the work I was doing and asking me to detail their vehicles. I took that passion to social media, and by the summer of 2019, I was booked every day.
Detailing became more than a side hustle.
After long days at my 9-to-5, detailing became my way to unwind. On my days off, it was something I genuinely enjoyed. I wasn't just cleaning cars—I was experimenting with products, equipment, techniques, and ways to make the experience better.
From my garage to your driveway.
In 2021, I traded my Impala for a 2017 Chevrolet Express Van and began building my mobile detailing operation. I started out working from my parents' garage, but I wanted independence and wanted to create a better experience for customers.
The idea was simple: why make the customer come to me when I can bring the detail to them? You stay home, relax, and let me take care of your vehicle without having to move a muscle.

I take pride in how far I've come, but I also know there is always more to learn. Every year brings new products, equipment, techniques, and challenges.
“Be teachable.” You can be an expert at one thing and still have something to learn about the next. I believe consistency, discipline, and staying willing to learn are what have gotten me this far.
